I slept in once again on Friday and didn't go to the beach because of my
sunburn. Everyone else went except for John and Libby, who woke up early to
go driving around to try and find out how they could get the permit on their
car extended. They were gone until the late afternoon and weren't totally
successful. On the bright side, they found out what they need to do and
where they need to go finally. I chilled out and surfed the internet for a
little while to catch up on some emails and news until everyone else
returned from the beach and lunch.

In the evening, we first went to DJ's. We all grabbed some food from
various places and brought it back there for dinner. I ate chicken strips
and fries from an American food place called Fritos. [Ed. Note: Fritos
is actually owned by a Bulgarian couple. Their fries and chicken fingers
rule!] Then I drank a double-shot of tequila with Raf, John, and
Amanda that I really didn't need. Later we brought out a few
drinking games to change things up a bit. Dan and Amanda played
baseball versus John and Libby. Although it was her first
time playing, Libby came through with a few big hits late and powered them
to a 4-2 victory. Next, we played hockey. The teams were Dan, John, and
myself versus the 3 girls. It was a close game but the girls came from
behind in the third period and pulled out the victory largely thanks to
Natalie's cheating skills! There was also some weird older dude who dropped
by and was telling stories about himself doing handstands in the street to
John. He even went outside and did one. I thought he was going to hurt
himself big-time but he pulled it off. Fortunately, it was soon time for
Club Bali, just down the street.

Club Bali is a new club that opened recently within the past few weeks.
Since it was just down the street from DJ's, I had seen the lines of people
forming outside the past few days and saw plenty of hot girls, so I was
anxious to go there tonight. They do charge a cover since it's a fancy club
though, but luckily another friend of John's had the hook-up and got us in
without paying the cover charge. We went inside and got a table. We
secured some kind of deal for bottles of vodka and juices to mix our own
drinks. Bali was really cool inside with Indonesian-inspired decor. It
reminded me of Coco Bongo in Cancun because it was very large and open.
Since it was Friday night, it was of course crowded inside.

Around 1 AM, the first show took place. There were 2 acrobatic guys
basically in their underwear climbing up and down these cloth-like ropes
from the ceiling. They were impressive and did a pretty good job of
entertaining the crowd (especially the ladies). Later, Raf was summoned
over by this really cute girl from Mexico City and spent a while talking and
dancing with her and her friends! Very nice! Next came the highlight of my
night though. This gorgeous latina chick came out in a very nice black
bikini outfit! She had a couple hula hoops and started doing this awesome
dance performance. The first thing I remember was telling my brother Dan to
get video of this with his camera, LOL! I can't do justice to describing it
with words, but let me say it very impressive to see her dancing with 5 hula
hoops at once and doing these martial-arts type moves and dancing! Check
out the pictures and video of it. I think I still have a crush on her!
After she was done and got a nice round of applause, she later showed up in
a different outfit to dance on the bar for a while. It was fantastic!
After that, there was one more show which I didn't fully watch involving
this guy who could twist and conform himself and do other acrobatic stuff.
Other than that, we drank and danced and had a really fun time hanging out
with Antonio and Moises. I think we finished off 3 full bottles of vodka
between the 9 of us before it was all over. Needless to say, most of us
were a bit drunk and were being silly and having a good time. Besides
Moises, I think Raf and I were the last ones to leave, probably just before
5:00 AM. We grabbed some pizza at Pizza Banana and walked home. It was
definitely another fun night.
